FR�O� DESCRIPTION          

THE COOLING WALLET (inner part) This material is 65-35 Poly cotton, which has been made into an open pocket with double-walled panels containing panels of super-absorbent crystals, which are non-toxic and non-flammable.

THE COVER (outer part)                It is manufactured from a DuPont fiber called “Cambrelle™.” This pouch is permeable and facilitates the evaporation process, as well as improving the stability of the temperature inside the wallet

FR�O� - HOW IT WORKS
 
To activate your Frio Wallet, it is simply immersed in cold water for 5-15 minutes (depending upon the size.) Crystals contained in the panels of the Wallet then expand into a gel-like substance, and remains in this form for several days. Once sufficiently activated, remove from water and wrap in a towel to absorb excess water.    Remove from towel  (your Fr�o is now dry to the touch) and let your Fr�o lay on a surface to begin to air dry for a minimum of 20 minutes (longer is possible).  After air-drying, (air-drying is a very important step) the wallet can be placed into the Cambrelle™ cover and your medication inserted.  The crystals contained in the panels of the wallet expand into a gel form, which remains cool for several days ~ relying on the process of evaporation for cooling. 

When water is evaporating it is cooling - thus the evaporation process creates a cooling effect inside the Frio wallet, and the crystals that are holding water ensure that this process is long lasting. When in continuous use subsequent immersion periods MUST BE reduced to 3-4 minutes as the crystals will keep expanding and absorbing water.

Fr�o cooling products need to breathe and must have continual air circulation to effectively cool.  While activated, Fr�o products MUST NOT be placed into air-tight containers, plastic bags, suitcases, etc.  External mesh pockets are the ideal location to carry your Fr�o cooling wallet.

When you notice that your Fr�o product is drying out, it can be reactivated.  Please remember that as long as the crystals are even slightly moist, the resoaking time will be greatly reduced to 2-3 minutes.  The crystals will continue to expand and absorb water.  Towel and air drying times remain the same.  Used properly, you can reactivate your Fr�o hundreds of times!
